The Debate About Grey Wolves

image from Wikimidia Commons

The endangered spices act is trying to figure out if or not to keep the grey wolves on the endangered spices list. The status of grey wolves to day is they can not be hunted or hurt. Their are about 5,500 grey wolves in america today. Grey wolves used to live everywhere in the U.S. (except Hawaii and Alaska). Now they live in about half of america. One reason they should be kept on the list is because they change ecosystems. They also should stay on because 5,500 wolves is still critically endangered. They should be off the list because they hunt cattle of farmers. They also live in areas that are over-populated.
